Janet

Janet Stott –  Manager

I am mum to four children all who have attended Chelford Village Pre-School. I have been involved in in the Pre-School in one way or another for the past 14 years starting as a mum helper, then helping to run the toddler group before moving on to become firstly a relief staff member then a full time pre-school employee. My level 3 qualification in Childcare, Learning and Development was gained in November 2009.  I have attended a number of different training courses including Paediatric First Aid, Safeguarding, Magic Box Singing, Working with Family Separation, and the latest Early Years Development course.  I thoroughly enjoy working with children and gain great satisfaction in watching them grow and learn through play.

Katherine Bones – Pre-School Assistant

I started at Chelford Village Pre-School in June 2013. I have 3 children and have always worked with children in some way. I have run the Peover Toddler Group as well as working as a dinner lady at Peover Superior.

Daphne Whiles – Pre-School Assistant

I moved to Chelford from Cumbria in the summer of 2010 and my daughter started at pre-school almost immediately. In 2011, whilst pregnant with my son, I decided to return to college and gained a certificate in ‘supporting teaching and learning’ and have recently attended a further safeguarding course. I have 2 children at school in Peover.

Kate Hurst – Pre-School Assistant

I live in Chelford and started working at the village pre-school in March 2016.  I have always wanted to work with children and really enjoy the school environment. In 2012 I completed a level 5 teaching qualification.  I have a little boy called Dexter who also attends the school.
